It donates a percentage of every purchase to a philanthropic foundation that helps fund programs that encourage pet adoption and other causes. On its Web site, www.planetdog.com, you will find 44 items listed under the Eco-Friendly banner. Some of the current Planet Dog best sellers in this category include Shammy, a chamois pet towel made from recycled wood chips that absorbs more than 10 times its weight; durable Orbee-Tuff balls and bones made of recycled materials; and naturally dyed hemp collars, leashes and harnesses. Planet Dog also wants humans to spread the word. Their latest creation is the Green T collection of certified organic T-shirts meant to raise the profile of green living available in men's and women's sizes for US$30. The shirts come printed with earth-safe phthalate-free inks with one of four messages. Our favorite is “reduce.reuse.rewoof.” Subscribe to The China Post and save 25%. Click here |
