Iceland central bank cuts interest rate one point
REYKJAVIK -- The Icelandic central bank on Thursday unexpectedly announced a one point cut in its benchmark interest rate to 11 percent as the country's battered economy starts to recover. The bank also cut its deposit rate a half-point to 9.0 percent.
